To enhance our patient service, from late September 2010, where we have a mobile phone number for a patient, we will be sending text messages to patients. We will send text messages to:
- confirm a GP or nurse appointment
- remind patients of a GP or nurse appointment
- advise patients of surgery news, for example change of opening times, flu and other clinics, cancellation of surgeries
Other text messages may be added at a later date.
If we do not currently hold your mobile phone number and you would like to receive texts, please ask our Reception team for a form and return the completed form to us.
If you wish to stop receiving texts at any time, please just let us know.
