Seaford Medical Practice

GP Changes – January 2015

The Practice will be sorry to say goodbye to Drs John Jones, Brian Pickering and Mark Barnes on 31st December this year, when they retire. They have been extremely valued partners at the Practice for many, many years and I know many patients have received excellent care from them over many years. They will be a hard act to follow!

I am delighted to announce that we have appointed GPs to take over from the retiring GPs. Firstly, Dr Paul Aron will increase his existing role in the Practice from 2 days a week to 3 days a week. Dr Shavetha Vasdev, who is currently undertaking a number of duties on behalf of the Practice, will become a Partner on 1st January 2015 and be the lead GP for some patients. We are also being joined as a Partner by Dr Matt Jackson for 3 days a week as from 1st January. Dr Jackson was previously a GP Partner at the Hailsham Medical Group and we are delighted that such an experienced GP will be joining us.

We will be contacting the patients of Drs Jones, Pickering and Barnes to let them know of their new GP during the next 4 – 6 weeks.

I’m sure you’ll join us in wishing the retiring GPs a long and happy retirement and our new GPs a long and successful career with Seaford Medical Practice.
