Flu Vaccinations Campaign 2018
This year, NHS England has recommended different vaccinations for (1) those aged 65+, (2) those younger than 65 with a long term health condition and (3) children. As part of this, national supplies of flu vaccines are being delivered to Practices more slowly than in previous years. Because of this, the Practice will need to run our usual clinics on a more phased basis than in previous years. We will prioritise our clinics as follows:
- Patients aged 75 and over and patients in care homes
- Patients aged 65 – 74 in a clinical “at risk” group
- Patients aged 65 – 74 not in a clinical risk group
- Under 65 and in a clinical “at risk” group / children
