MediTech is a Hailsham based charity who collect unused medical equipment and consumables and ship them out to hospitals overseas, where they are in desperate need.
A recycling bin has been placed in our waiting room (its bright yellow you can’t miss it) and you are welcome to place any unused medical equipment and/or consumables in there.
Medical equipment can be things like crutches, boots, supports, etc.
Medical consumables can be packs of unopened bandages, catheters, plasters, etc.
Please note we cannot accept any patient returned medications – these must be returned to the Pharmacy.
